My name is Elmer and I'm a very handsome Rat Terrier who is looking for a loving forever-home. I was kept in a crate at a crowded puppy mill for the first part of my life. A very nice rescue group called Fur Keeps found it in their hearts to to give me a second chance. Unfortunately I got heartworm as a souvenir from my miserable time at the mill and I'm just finishing my treatment. I'm still wary of loud noises, city traffic and I'm not a fan of other dogs. I would probably prefer a home with adults only and a very comfortable couch to relax on. I have alot of love to give and will make an extremely grateful and loving best friend for life. If interested please e-mail my foster mom, Carol, at crazeedoglucy@yahoo.com.
